Bulls Beat Elephants in Ten

Bulls 3 Elephants 2 -10 innings (Hsinchu)
Wu Zong-Jun's solo shot in the extra inning was enough for the Bulls to win in Hsinchu Friday night. Reliever Shen Yu-Jie picked up the win while Shingo Takatsu retired all 3 batters that he faced in the bottom of the tenth for the save.

Zhou Si-Qi was 3 for 4 with an RBI for the Elephants.

Bears 7 Lions 0 (Tainan)
The Lions offense was anemic for the second straight night as they succumbed to the Bears in Tainan.

Bears starter Aaron Rakers looked strong, allowing just a hit and a walk seven innings. Shortstop Chen Yan-Wei went 3 for 3 with a couple of RBI's while fellow infielders Lin Zhi-Sheng and Yu Jin-De chipped in with two hits and an RBI each.

Jerome Williams had a pretty decent outing for the Lions, conceding one run in the seven innings that he pitched. The wheels fell off in the eighth inning though, as Shen Bai-Cang came on in relief and promptly stunk up the joint, allowing five runs on six hits in two-thirds of an inning.
