Elephants Send Lions to Bottom of the Standings

4/4 - Elephants 8 Lions 6 (Douliu)
The Elephants find themselves in second place heading into Monday's off day due to strong hitting from the meat of the order. Chen Guan-Ren, Peng Cheng-Min and Zhou Si-Qi went a combined 8 for 14 with four RBI's to lead the offense. Reliever Tseng Yong-Da got his first win of the season after a shaky start from Lin En-Yu, and Ryan Cullen came on for a four-out save.

Lions first baseman Kao Kuo-Ching tied Zhou for the league lead with his 10th and 11th RBI's of the season.

Bulls 2 Bears 1 (Kaohsiung)
New import Lindsay Gulin won in his debut and lead-off hitter Huang Jian-Ming went 3 for 4 to lead the Bulls to victory. Shingo Takatsu earned his second save.

After allowing both Sinon runs in the first inning Bears starter Huang Qin-Zhi shut-out the Bulls over the next six in the hard-luck loss.
