Bulls Use Long Ball to Get Past Lions

Bulls 6 Lions 1 (Tainan)
Three home runs and a stellar pitching performance were more than enough to propel the Bulls to victory Thursday night.

Catcher Zheng Da-Hong puts the Bulls on the board in the fourth with a two run shot off Lions starter Pan Wei-Lun. Wu Zong-Jun and Lin Yi-Chuan added solo homers in the seventh and eighth to add further damage. Starter Yang Chien-Fu was in fine form as he silenced the Lions bats by throwing seven shutout innings for the win.

Marshall McDougall scored the Lions only run in the bottom of the ninth from a Gao Guo-Ching double.

Elephants-Bears (Taichung) - postponed until June 15th and moved to Kaohsiung (rain)
