Elephants Win Gaffe Filled Contest

4/7 - Elephants 4 Bears 3 (Hsinchu)
Despite committing three errors in the first inning the Elephants managed a come-back victory over the Bears Wednesday night. This was in large part due to the shaky defending of their opponents, especially Bears catcher Huang Hao-Ran. The Elephants scored both of their second inning runs after two pitches evaded the catcher and ended up at the back fence.

Huang Jia-Ming won his first game of the season while Ken Ray dropped to 0-1. New Brother reliever Carlos Castillo struck out three over two shutout innings in his debut for the team.
